Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Steamboat Springs, CO

Marshall Forestry Solutions is a logging and forestry outfit based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. They handle fire mitigation, mastication, logging, material production, and consulting, and they work on lodgepole pine stands, built around "unique equipment, experienced crews" and processes meant to leave the ground clean when they're done. Their work runs from large clear cuts with high-production equipment down to low-impact, selective harvesting on steeper ground. One project near Fraser involved thinning steep slopes up to 70 percent and produced 102 truckloads. They also take on consulting work, helping landowners put together plans for grants and land management. A sister company, The Mill in Kremmling, gives them a direct outlet for merchantable timber, so logs from their projects go somewhere rather than sitting in a slash pile. They say they serve landowners across Northern CO, and they've been doing this since 2016. There's no stated minimum acreage, but the smallest job shown on their site is a 68+ acre thinning project, so smaller tracts may be outside what they typically take on. This looks like a fit for someone with a larger parcel, especially one with fire risk, beetle-killed timber, or storm damage, who wants an outfit that also runs its own mill outlet for the wood it cuts.
