Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Aragon, GA

Tumblewood Sawmill is a sawmill and woodworking shop in Aragon, Georgia, at 476 Taylorsville Road. It mills lumber and makes woodworking products, and the business describes its aim as "a legacy for generations to come." The area it covers is Floyd County. The mill works with walnut, oak, pine, yellow pine and mixed hardwoods. If you have a log in your backyard, Tumblewood Sawmill will mill it into usable lumber. It also keeps a milled lumber inventory that changes often, so you call or email to see what is on hand. The shop favors local sources and local customers when it can, and it manages its own nearly 43 acres of rural land to restore forest areas and create wildlife habitat. Woodworking projects that have been built can be custom built, and customization is available in many cases. If you have something in mind, you can schedule a consult to talk it through first. It suits a landowner who has a log to turn into lumber, or who wants a made piece from walnut, oak or pine and likes to talk a job through before it starts.
