Hazlehurst Wood Pellets, LLC
About Hazlehurst Wood Pellets, LLC
Hazlehurst Wood Pellets, LLC makes wood pellets at its mill in Hazlehurst, Georgia, in Jeff Davis County. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fram Renewable Fuels, LLC, and the mill started up in late 2013. The pellets are made from yellow pine, described as "clean, white southern pine." This is a pellet producer, not a timber buyer. The pellets ship in bulk, and the parent's commitment is customized long-term supply contracts to meet each customer's needs. The pages speak mostly to industrial buyers, with the European market as the main focus. The parent's pellets are EN Plus A1 grade. The mill's address is 19 Farmer Street in Hazlehurst, and its mailing address is P.O. Box 1810, Hazlehurst, GA 31539. For a landowner, this business suits someone who wants to understand where southern pine goes once it leaves the woods, not someone looking for a logger or a buyer for a single tract.
