Robinson Stave LLC is a stave mill in Morganton, Georgia, with its Georgia mill on Loving Road. Its main work is turning white oak logs into staves for bourbon barrels, and it lists Fannin as the county it serves. Its trades are sawmill or mill work and timber buying. The business works in white oak, including Appalachian white oak. It says it will "secure renewable white oak logs from all over the southeast." Those logs become staves for 53-gallon barrels, and the inside of each barrel is charred. Because timber buying is one of its trades, a landowner with white oak to sell would be dealing with a mill that already buys logs for this kind of barrel work. The business began in 1958 as a family business run by C.B. and Imogene Robinson in a small stave mill in southeastern Kentucky. Its listed locations are Kentucky, Georgia and Tennessee. This suits a landowner in Fannin County or nearby with white oak to sell who wants a buyer whose main work is making barrel staves. From robinsonstave.com, read 4 October 2026.
