Sims Bark Company
About Sims Bark Company
Sims Bark Company is a family owned and operated business in Woodbury, Georgia, and has been since 1974. It makes bark mulch, soil and landscape rock at its manufacturing facility on Old Woodbury Highway. The work is wood recycling, done with "state of the art equipment." The wood it works with is yellow pine and mixed hardwoods. Its products include bulk and bagged mulch, several soils, and landscape rocks such as river rock, pea gravel, drainage rock and marble rock. Mulch, soil and landscape rock can be bought together on one order. It serves Meriwether County. This business suits a landowner who wants wood turned into mulch, soil or rock, not one who wants to sell standing timber or hire a logger. From simsbark.com, read 17 October 2026.
