Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Keithville, LA

Armistead Land & Timber Co is a timber business in Shreveport, Louisiana. Its main trade is logging, and it also buys standing timber, does land clearing and site work, and offers forestry advice through its consultants. The company was started in 1994 by Vince Drake and Aaron Poole, and it describes itself as owner operated. It lists itself as a 3MP Certified/Pro Losser LA Contractor, number 49199. Its services include timber purchasing and harvesting, land clearing, right of way and well pad clearing for oil and gas companies, clearing of timber and debris, dirt work such as ponds, driveways and drainage, and trucking and hauling of logs, dirt and gravel. It says it has worked with landowners across Northern Louisiana, Eastern Texas and Southern Arkansas, and it names Caddo as the county it serves. Its services page names both 15 acres and 500 acres as sizes of land it works with, and it says "Let our team of professionals turn your timber into profit." To start, you ask for an appraisal or free estimate by phone or through its request form, and staff say they will get back to you within 24 hours. A consultant can talk through the best way to clear your land without harming the new forest. This business suits a landowner who wants one firm to buy the timber, cut it, and handle clearing, dirt work or hauling in the area it names. From armisteadtimber.com, read 18 October 2026.
