Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Powellville, MD

Parker Forestry Services, Inc. is a consulting forestry business in Salisbury, Maryland, working with landowners across the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. They've been at it since 1983, started by W.H. "Ace" Parker, Jr. and W. Allen "Skip" Jones, Jr., with Stacey Esham joining the team in 1997. Their work covers forestland management, timber sale administration, timber appraisal, forest management plan preparation, and wildlife habitat planning. In their own words, "our team assists you in the management of timberland areas." Skip and Stacey are both MD Licensed Foresters, and the business holds Maryland State License #616 and #213. They're involved with the Maryland Forests Association, the Association of Forest Industries, the Society of American Foresters, the Association of Consulting Foresters, County Forestry Boards, and the Quality Deer Management Association. The county they serve is listed as Wicomico, though their own pages describe work across the wider Eastern Shore, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. No acreage minimum is given, and no particular tree species are named on their pages. What they do point to is depth: "over sixty years of combined experience in forestland management" between Skip and Stacey, built up over more than four decades in business. This fits a landowner who wants a forester who has been doing this on the Eastern Shore a long time, handling the paperwork and planning side of a timber sale as well as the sale itself, rather than someone who just cuts and leaves.
