Mission Forest Products

About Mission Forest Products

Mission Forest Products is a sawmill in Corinth, Mississippi, in Alcorn County. It makes southern yellow pine lumber and dimensional pine lumber products, with a stated capacity of 250 million board feet a year. The company was founded in 2020, and its ribbon-cutting was held in November 2022. The mill is the main business. Timber buying is a second trade. The company expects to buy its timber from local suppliers and timberland owners, and it says it draws pine sawlogs from "one of the largest and strongest timber baskets in the U.S. South." The area it serves for landowners is Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, and its listed county is Alcorn. The mill sits close to Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Huntsville, Birmingham, and the Midwest. Trucking is the main route it uses to reach those markets, and rail and barge are also available to it. It suits a landowner near the Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee line who has pine sawtimber to sell and wants a sawmill that buys timber. From missionforestproducts.com, read 18 October 2026.
