Burton's Logging

About Burton's Logging

Burton's Logging is in Cortland, New York, and works in Cortland County. The business goes back to 1975, when it started out building log homes. Ten years after that it moved into logging hardwood timber, and over the years it added a sawmill and later moved into selling used logging equipment. Today the business describes itself as offering "quality used equipment at a competitive price," alongside its logging work with hardwood timber. It says it is "happy to service customers near and far," though it doesn't spell out a set territory beyond Cortland County. There's no stated minimum acreage, and no sale or job process laid out, so a landowner would want to call and ask how Burton's Logging handles smaller or larger tracts. This one may suit a landowner who's comfortable talking shop with a business that has both logging roots and a background in the equipment side of the industry, and who doesn't mind asking the particulars directly rather than finding them spelled out ahead of time.
