Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Adamsville, PA

Green Ridge Forest Products is a timber buyer based in Cochranton, Pennsylvania, serving landowners in Crawford County. Along with buying standing timber, they also log, run a sawmill, and offer forestry consulting, so they can wear more than one hat on the same piece of ground. They work in hardwoods, mentioning oak, cherry, walnut, hard maple, and ash, along with pine. The process starts with a free appraisal. From there, "your payment will be issued before we cut or remove any trees," and once the cutting is done, the crew will "clean all trails and re-seed your soil before we leave." That's useful to know if you're worried about what your woods will look like afterward. For acreage, they prefer landowners have at least five acres to appraise, though they make an exception for walnut trees, which can sometimes be worth harvesting on smaller lots. They describe themselves as family owned and operated for generations, though no specific founding year is given. This fits a landowner in or near Crawford County with a stand of mixed hardwoods, at least five acres, who wants one business to handle the buying, the cutting, and the cleanup afterward rather than juggling separate contractors for each step.
