Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Kennerdell, PA

Dan Miller Logging is a sawmill and logging business based in Polk, Pennsylvania, working Venango County and the areas around it. They started out in 1945 as MPR Lumber, passed down through the family to what is now Dan Miller Logging. Their main work is custom sawing, turning out framing and sheeting lumber up to 16 feet long, along with wood beams, fireplace mantels, and other specialty timber products. They cut hemlock and pine lumber, and they buy hemlock and hardwood timber and logs. Beyond the sawmill side, they also handle logging, tree removal, and timber consulting for landowners working out what to do with their woods. There's no set minimum acreage spelled out, but they say plainly that they "take pride in working with small tracts of timber for landowners and builders," so this isn't a business that needs a big parcel to take you on. This fits a landowner with a smaller wooded property in or near Venango County who wants lumber cut to their own specs, or who has hemlock or hardwood to sell and wants someone who will deal in modest quantities rather than only large harvests.
