Dans Tree Care

About Dans Tree Care

Dans Tree Care is a tree business in Easley, South Carolina, at 215 Slickum Rd. It has served Upstate South Carolina since 2005 and lists the Greater Greenville area and beyond as its service area. Its main trade is tree care: inspections, pruning, cabling, precision felling, removing trees over a house, pool, or power lines, and storm clean-up with emergency service 24 hours a day. The business says it climbs without spikes and works without bringing heavy machinery into the yard. For a landowner with timber, the sawmill is the part to look at. The business runs its own band sawmill and mills logs into lumber to your specs, including straight-edged and live-edged boards, beams, and slabs up to about 24 inches wide. It can also cut veneer strips down to about 1/8 inch. Species it usually keeps on hand include oak (red and white), yellow poplar, yellow and white pine, eastern red cedar, sweetgum, red maple, black walnut, black cherry, and American holly. If you bring your own logs, it will mill them, and in most cases it can pick them up for an extra fee. On tree removals, it says "we can also often sell your logs to lower your expenses." The business is fully insured and gives free estimates. It suits a landowner who needs a tree removed near a structure or wants logs turned into lumber or slabs, and who would rather deal with one business for both the felling and the milling.
