Roof Basket Works
About Roof Basket Works
Roof Basket Works is a basket maker and retailer in Lexington, South Carolina. The company makes its baskets at its own facility at 1514 Pisgah Church Road, and sells them as containers for harvesting and retailing fruit, vegetables and plants, and as gift baskets. A free catalog can be downloaded or requested by mail. It is a woodworking and retail business, not a timber buyer. Its pages do not describe buying standing timber, logging, or running a timber sale, so a landowner looking to sell trees should look elsewhere for that work. The company does say something about the land its wood comes from: "the land that provides the wood for our baskets to remain healthy and fruitful." It also says it recycles all of its wood waste. This business suits someone looking for handmade baskets for a market stand, a farm stall or a gift order, not a landowner who wants a timber sale or a logging crew.
