Woodruff Sawmill
About Woodruff Sawmill
Woodruff Sawmill LLC is a sawmill in Woodruff, South Carolina, in the upstate. The business turns logs into "precisely milled lumber," and it can do that on your land or at its own mill. The owner, Sammy Woodruff, grew up around his dad's circle sawmill on the family farm and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree. Portable sawmilling means they bring their equipment to your property, so the logs never have to be hauled to the mill. If you would rather deliver, they will haul your logs or material on request. Lumber can be dried in their "Solar Powered Kiln." They also sharpen 1 1/4 inch thin kerf bandsaw blades in 7 and 10 degree. Hardwood and softwood both get milled, and the shop sells fencing boards, live edge slabs, siding material and firewood. The stated service area is the upstate of South Carolina, and the county named is Spartanburg. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with Saturdays by appointment. This business suits a landowner who wants logs from their own place milled into lumber for building, furniture or fencing, close to home. From woodruffsawmill.com, read 16 October 2026.
