OAK WILT PROS

About OAK WILT PROS

Oak Wilt Pros is a tree care business in Dripping Springs, Texas, that treats and prevents oak wilt. Brothers Stephen and Mark Ashby founded it, and they say they bring over 15 years of experience with the disease. Their stated aim is to "Stop oak wilt before it spreads." The work centers on live oaks and other oak trees. A certified arborist writes a plan of care for your trees, which may include fungicide injections or trenching. The injections go into the tree's water-conducting system through small holes drilled in the root flares. The trenches are cut to 52 inches, deeper than the Texas Forest Service minimum, and at least 100 feet from the infected area. They also do property inspections, including pre-purchase inspections for oak wilt. Each inspection comes with a written report and estimates for any recommended work, usually within 48 hours. They also make PGR applications using Cambistat. They cover Central Texas and its affected counties, including Bandera, Bell, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Comal, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Hamilton, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Lampasas, Llano, Travis, and Williamson. Stephen is an ISA Certified Arborist and a licensed commercial applicator with the Texas Department of Agriculture. Mark is an ISA Certified Arborist and Texas Oak Wilt Qualified, and he says he has personally injected thousands of trees. They offer a free consultation. This business suits a landowner with oaks in one of those counties who needs oak wilt diagnosis, treatment, or an inspection. From oakwiltpros.com, read 18 October 2026.
