Rockoff Tree Solutions

About Rockoff Tree Solutions

Rockoff Tree Solutions is a tree care company in Kerrville, Texas, run by Karen Rockoff. It calls itself a full service arboricultural company for the Central Texas Hill Country, working on home and business properties as well as hill country ranches. Karen started the operation in 1992 in Houston and moved it to Kerrville in 2009. The work is mostly about tree health and disease. Services include oak wilt management, tree health management, air spading, soil aeration, new development work, and treatment for Phytophthora root and crown rot. For oak wilt, the company diagnoses the trees first, then treats them by injection with a Chemjet Tree Injection System, which can treat multiple trees in as little as a day. The species named are Post Oak, Monterrey Oak, and Lacey Oak. On-site consultations are available, and a DNA lab sample costs $35 per test if you want one. The company lists an ISA Certified Arborist credential, a Licensed Pesticide Applicator, a TX Oak Wilt Qualified credential, a TX Master Certified Nursery Professional, and a TX Forest Service Wildfire Risk Mitigation Specialist. Its named service areas are Fredericksburg, Boerne, Harper, Bandera, and Hunt. Counties served include Kerr, Gillespie, Kendall, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Hays, Travis, and Medina. The company describes its approach as "your first line of defense" against oak wilt. This suits a landowner with oaks that look unwell who wants a proper diagnosis and disease treatment, not someone looking to sell or log timber. From oakwilt.com, read 18 October 2026.
