Meyers Custom Lumber is a family-operated sawmill and millwork shop in Willard, Washington, in the Little White Salmon River Valley. Matt is the owner and sawyer, with over 20 years running a sawmill in the Columbia Gorge area, and the business went full-time in 2008. This is a mill and a timber buyer both. They purchase logs from local logging companies and private landowners, so if you've got standing timber on your own ground, that's who you'd be talking to. They cut fir in the rough, from beams and posts to lumber and board and batt siding, plus planed and finish grade material like tongue and groove flooring, S4S trim boards, and 2x6 fir car decking. They also work in cedar, turning out decking, bevel siding, and tongue and groove 1x4. Their equipment includes an LT40 hydraulic Wood-Mizer bandsaw mill, a Logosol 4-head planer-moulder for custom moulding profiles, and a dry kiln. They serve Skamania County.
