About Weekes Forest Products, Inc.

Weekes Forest Products, Inc. is listed in the mills category in Green Bay, Wisconsin, found through Brown County. What this company actually does is sell lumber and building materials wholesale, to retail dealers, pro-dealer chains, mass merchants, and distributors, not buy standing timber from landowners. Its pages describe it as a "Distributor of Lumber & Building Materials," with products like decking, siding, trim, engineered wood, and specialty timbers in species such as Douglas Fir, Redwood, Southern Pine, and Western Red Cedar. It operates distribution centers in several states including Wisconsin, and has a separate division, North Star Forest Materials, that moves rail car quantities of framing and MSR lumber to retail dealers and truss plants. There is nothing on its pages about walking a woodlot, marking timber, running a harvest, or working with a landowner on a sale. If you have standing trees to sell or log, this isn't the kind of outfit that does that end of the business. It fits a landowner only in the sense that it's a name tied to Brown County in the directory, for someone sourcing finished lumber or building materials rather than someone with acres of standing timber to sell.
