Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Strum, WI

Koxlien Brothers Wood Products is a sawmill in Strum, Wisconsin. They buy standing hardwood timber and logs, and they're a "3rd generation family owned sawmill" that's been at it since 1983. Their main trade is timber buying, but they also log, run the mill, and do forestry consulting. They work with hardwood timber and oak timber, and they say they "specialize in hunting properties" and oak timber regeneration, along with general forest management. Their stated focus is "improving the overall health of the woods," which shows in the kind of work they take on: timber value estimates, MFL compliance, trail construction and repair, job site clean up, property line surveying, harvest planning, timber value assessment and marking, trucking, and dozing work for trails or food plots. They also note "experienced logging crews" for the harvest itself. Buffalo County is where they're found in the register, and they list Trempealeau County as an area they serve, with Wisconsin and Strum named more broadly on their own pages. This looks like a fit for a landowner who wants more than a one-time timber sale. If you're thinking about hunting land, oak regeneration, or longer-term forest management alongside the harvest, this is a business built around that kind of work rather than just buying logs and moving on.
