About Whorton Logging, LLC
Whorton Logging, LLC is a logging contractor based in Huntsville, Arkansas. Owner Jake Whorton started the business in 2021, and it works in Madison County and the surrounding Northwest Arkansas area. The work covers select cut and clear cut jobs. The crew says it's set up for "Low Impact Timber Cutting" and is "Capable of operating in steep terrain," so hillier ground with harder access isn't automatically off the table. No species are named, so ask what they've worked with in your area before you commit. There's no minimum tract size stated, so it's worth a call to find out if your acreage fits what they take on. They offer a free estimate, which is a simple way to find out before you commit to anything. This fits a landowner in or near Madison County who has steep or difficult ground and wants a contractor who names that terrain as something they handle, rather than guessing whether a flatland crew can do the job.
