About Kubich Lumber Co
Kubich Lumber Co is a sawmill in Grass Valley, California, in Nevada County. They mill wood products and also buy timber, working right from their own mill. They've been at this a long time, "providing high quality wood products for nearly 70 years." They say they aim to "create both a product and reputation that will survive the test of time." The site doesn't lay out which species they handle or walk through how a timber sale works with them, so you'd want to call and ask directly. Their listed service area is Nevada County. There's no stated minimum acreage, and no smallest job size to go by either, so it's worth a call to find out if your parcel is the kind of size they take on. This one suits a landowner in Nevada County who wants to deal with a long-running local mill directly, and who doesn't mind picking up the phone to get the specifics on species and process before moving forward.
