About Timber Edge Lumber Products
Timber Edge Lumber Products is a sawmill in Reedley, California, just east of Fresno. It's a "small family-owned sawmill" run by Trennis Good, who started out hand-sawing slabs with a chainsaw before buying his first mill. The work here is rough cut lumber, live edge slabs, custom sawmilling, and custom wood products and personalized gifts. They cut full dimension lumber as well as nominal sizes on request, and their popular cuts include large custom beams, cedar fencing, corral lumber, and 1x12 siding. Species they work with are Lodgepole Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Red Fir, White Fir, Incense Cedar, and occasionally Redwood. If you have logs that need milling, they can bring equipment to your site or mill them at their yard in Reedley. Their WoodMizer LT70 handles logs up to 36 inches across, and their Lucas Dedicated Slabber Mill can cut slabs up to 76 inches wide. Part of their work involves reclaiming fire hazard trees from burn reduction efforts and old orchards that would otherwise be burnt or chipped, turning that wood into lumber and slabs instead. They serve the area around Fresno, Fresno County, and describe themselves as committed to "sustainable practices" using locally sourced logs. This fits a landowner near Fresno with logs or orchard trees coming down, who wants them milled into usable lumber or slabs rather than cleared away. From timberedgeslabs.com, read 4 October 2026.
