About Timber Age Systems Inc.

Timber Age Systems Inc. is a manufacturer in Durango, Colorado, that makes panelized buildings. It serves Montezuma County in southwest Colorado. Its building panels use Ponderosa Pine CLT, and its panelized system is called TAMBS, short for Timber Age Modular Building System. The company's aim is to help people build "a beautiful and durable high-performance home using materials you love and methods you respect." Its projects include a backyard office unit in Durango, a library for Battle Rock Charter School in Montezuma County, a sauna in Crested Butte, and a farmhouse outside Boulder. The company works alongside designers, engineers and general contractors. It does not act as the general contractor, and it does not manage installation once panels reach the building site. It does not offer timber cruising, timber buying, logging or harvesting. A landowner who wants to sell standing timber or have trees cut will need to look elsewhere. It suits a landowner who wants a home or outbuilding built from Ponderosa Pine panels and already has a builder or designer to handle the site work. From timberage.com, read 10 October 2026.
