About Lyric Woodwork & Snake Road Sawmill
Lyric Woodwork & Snake Road Sawmill is a sawmill and design studio in Wahiawa, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. It makes custom fine furnishings and architectural woodwork. The shop is at 71-129 Wilikina Drive, and the phone number is (808) 366-9290. The wood comes from trees that have fallen in storms or been salvaged from construction projects on the island. The mill works with local arborists and construction companies to give these trees "a second life." The species include koa, kamani, kou, lychee, milo and banyan, along with two dozen others from the entire Pacific Rim. It works in Honolulu County and is veteran owned, with helpful staff and fair prices. It suits a Honolulu County landowner whose tree has already come down in a storm and who wants the wood turned into finished furniture or architectural pieces rather than cut for firewood.
