Moser Tree Service & Saw Mill
About Moser Tree Service & Saw Mill
Moser Tree Service & Saw Mill is a sawmill in Topeka, Kansas. It takes waste logs that would otherwise go to landfills and turns them into "high-quality lumber." It describes itself as a family-operated sawmill focused on reclaimed and salvaged wood, and it reports 40 years of experience. The mill offers custom milling and carries a variety of native Kansas species, along with a wide selection of reclaimed lumber. It dries lumber in a solar kiln and reuses waste lumber in a high-efficiency woodstove, and it is building a hybrid solar and electric kiln to dry more lumber. It serves Shawnee County. Because this is a mill and not a timber buyer, a landowner looking to sell standing timber or have a tract logged will want a different kind of listing. This mill suits a landowner who wants wood from native Kansas species milled into lumber for a building or project, or who prefers reclaimed boards to new ones.
