About Busenitz Custom Woodworks
Busenitz Custom Woodworks is a lumber yard and sawmill in Whitewater, Kansas. They describe themselves as "a full-service lumber yard and sawmill," working with domestic and exotic hardwood lumber as well as live edge slabs. This isn't standing timber buying or logging work on your acres; it's a mill and yard that turns wood into usable lumber and slabs, and they also build custom furniture. For a landowner, that means Busenitz Custom Woodworks is the kind of outfit you'd deal with after logs come off your land, or if you want slabs and lumber milled for a project rather than help selling or marking timber. They don't describe a timber sale process, a harvesting crew, or any credentials, so this reads as a milling and woodworking shop rather than a timber management service. They list Butler County as served. Once a job starts, they say "we stay in constant communication with our customers until the job is done," and they offer a free quote if you reach out with questions or special requests. No minimum job size is spelled out. This fits a landowner who already has logs or timber ready to be sawn, wants hardwood lumber or live edge slabs for a build, or wants custom furniture made from wood off their own property, rather than someone just starting out trying to figure out whether to sell standing timber at all.
