About Cox Shavings, Inc.
Cox Shavings, Inc. is in Campbellsville, Kentucky, in Taylor County. This isn't a place that buys standing timber or runs logging jobs. It's a mill that makes pine and poplar shavings for horse bedding, working with both hardwood and softwood. The shavings go through a 26 million BTU dryer, then a screening process to pull out the dust, before being loaded for sale in bulk or bagged. Cox Shavings says its product has "dust free consistency" and calls itself "a great product at a great price." The business says it has "worked for over two decades." If you're a landowner trying to sell timber off your acres or hire a logging crew, this isn't that kind of business. It fits someone on the other side of the equation: a farm or stable owner in or near Taylor County looking for bedding supply, not a place to sell trees. From coxshavings.com, read 4 October 2026.
