About Hunt Forest Products L.L.C.
Hunt Forest Products L.L.C. is a mill that makes Southern Yellow Pine plywood, veneer and clean chips. Its corporate office is in Ruston, Louisiana, and its plant is at Pollock, about fifteen miles north of Alexandria. The company has operated since 1978. It also buys timber, runs logging, and does forestry consulting. The company has four Louisiana forestry offices, in Ruston, Choudrant, Olla and Pollock. Its foresters write harvest plans for timber bought from private landowners and offer timber management, timber marketing, harvesting, reforestation and property line maintenance. Landowners in its Landowner Management Assistance Program get a forest management plan with a computer-generated map of each tract. Free pine seedlings go to owners who sell on a non bid timber sale, and after a total harvest. The company is ATFS Certified and a member of ATFS-IMG-21. The county it names as its service area is Lincoln. Sales are handled from the Ruston office. Its forestry page invites owners who "need a market for your timber" to call one of its offices. It suits a pine owner who wants a mill that also writes the harvest plan and runs the logging. From huntforpro.com, read 18 October 2026.
