Bella Madero

About Bella Madero

Bella Madero is a sawmill and custom lumber business in Davidsonville, Maryland, serving Anne Arundel County. It is not a timber buyer, so it won't come onto your land to purchase standing timber. Instead it works with wood you bring to it, or wood taken off a lot it clears, turning logs into lumber for your own projects. The business cuts a "variety of wood species" and offers custom lumber services alongside land clearing, lot preparation, and stone driveway restoration and repair. If you have a tree with history behind it, the fact that "people regularly come to us to utilize trees with great sentimental value" may matter to you. They say they take time up front to walk through your options before the project starts, since some cuts are quick and others take longer to get right. Bella Madero is family owned and run, and is a disabled veteran owned small business. It was started in 2021 when the owner bought a sawmill, after years of helping produce lumber for furniture work as a young man. This fits a landowner in Anne Arundel County who has specific trees, maybe ones that mean something, and wants them milled into usable lumber rather than sold off as a timber harvest. It also suits someone who needs a lot cleared or a stone driveway fixed alongside that milling work. From bellamadero.com, read 8 October 2026.
