About A & A Tree Experts, Inc.
A & A Tree Experts, Inc. is a tree care and forestry business based in Pikesville, Maryland. It has operated under that name since 1948. The company does more than trim trees. Alongside pruning, removal, cabling, and fertilization for homeowners, it handles timber harvest and timber stand improvement for landowners who want to sell wood off their land. For a harvest, it describes its approach as "low impact sustainable forestry for landowners who want to selectively harvest desirable timber for monetary purposes," and it leaves limbs and tops on site afterward. It also notes that paperwork and permits can take up to a year depending on the county. The wood it mentions working with is "quality mixed hardwoods." Beyond harvesting, it offers consultation on timber value and woodlot management, invasive species control, brush mowing, trail installation, timber stand improvement, and tree planting for reforestation. Staff are described as licensed and insured, with expertise spanning arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture, natural resource management, entomology, and plant pathology. The company holds both an LTE number and an MDA number. It serves central Maryland, southern Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, and the Eastern Shore, naming Harford, Carroll, Baltimore, Howard, Anne Arundel, and Frederick counties along with Baltimore City. This suits a landowner near Baltimore who wants one outfit that can both handle a timber sale and keep up with ordinary tree work on the same property, rather than hiring separately for each.
