About Lutke Forest Products Inc

Lutke Forest Products Inc is a timber harvesting company based in Manton, Michigan. They've been at it since 1992, working with landowners and sawmills across Michigan, and they serve Wexford County. This isn't a small outfit. They run eleven logging crews, forty semi-tractors, sixty trailers, and ten service trucks, with over sixty full time employees. They take on short wood, tree length, thinnings, clear cuts, and whole tree chipping, so they can handle a tract big or small. They say they treat "every job, regardless of size, like it was on our own land." They started small too, with "just an old Gafner Iron Mule," before growing into the operation they are now. There's no stated minimum acreage, so there's no telling how small a job they'd take on from what's given here. If you want a company with real scale behind it, enough crews and trucks to move through a harvest without waiting on equipment, Lutke Forest Products is worth a call. If you're hoping for a one-person outfit that will sit with you at length over a small woodlot, this is a bigger operation than that. From lutkeequipment.com, read 8 October 2026.
