It launched in 2023, carrying on from the owner's grandfather's sawmill, Duus Sawmill in Tyler, which ran from the mid-1990s to 2018. The mill takes in logs for custom milling and custom drying. They work with hardwood and softwood, including local timber, and cut it on a fully hydraulic bandsaw mill. You bring your logs to the mill, and their team helps you "develop a cut list and mill it however you'd like." Drying is done in solar dehumidification kilns, priced by board footage, and slabs get finished with 36 inch sanders and flatteners.
