About Hathaway Tree Service
Hathaway Tree Service is a tree company in Rochester, Minnesota, and it has been "Family owned & operated since 1947." Its staff includes Certified Arborists, and the business is licensed and insured. It offers free estimates for tree removal, pruning, cabling, stump removal, land clearing, right-of-way clearing and emergency storm clean-up, along with brush hauling. The work covers the Rochester area, and the company describes its services as reaching across southern Minnesota. The company runs a tree recycling site that is open Monday through Saturday during daylight hours, with a self-service pay shed. It accepts logs, trees, shrubs and branches, with fees from $10 for a car to $250 for a grapple load. It is an approved Designated Receiving Site for trees affected by Dutch Elm Disease and Emerald Ash Borer. It also grinds hardwood mulch on site at $30 a cubic yard, and when firewood is available, it sells whole, mixed hardwood logs at $300 a load delivered. The buyer cuts and splits the wood. It suits a landowner near Rochester who needs trees taken down, land cleared, or brush and logs hauled away, and who wants a tree service rather than a buyer for standing timber.
