Superior Mat
About Superior Mat
Superior Mat is a mill in Collins, Mississippi, that makes lumber mats and rents them out through its mat rental programs. Its own history says operations began over 25 years ago as a small circular sawmill, and the business has since grown into "a wide range of hardwood products and services." It serves Covington County. Its pages cover mat types and specifications, rental options, and current specials. Sales questions go to Joey Childs by phone, and visitors in the area are invited to drop by the office for a tour of the facility. The company advertises competitive pricing and flexible shipping. It says it uses computerized optimization to get the most from its natural resources, and that it is committed to the environment and its forestry lands. Superior Mat's pages focus on mats and mat rentals, so it suits a buyer who needs mats from an established Collins mill more than a landowner looking to sell standing trees.
