DH4 Lumber is a small, family owned and operated sawmill at 215 Airport Road in Greenwood, Mississippi, in the Mississippi Delta. It offers custom cut cypress lumber and beams, specialty woods, and custom milling. The business has three generations of sawmill experience behind it. Cypress is the main line, and it comes from "the heart of cypress country, The Delta." Beyond cypress, the mill stocks around 20 species, including sinker cypress, pecky cypress, poplar, cherry, red and white oak, black walnut, honey locust, cedar and sinker pine. Slabs are cut for tabletops, countertops and bar tops. Custom work can be cut to any width up to 70 inches, and lumber or beams can run up to 35 feet long. It also runs a log sales service and serves Carroll County. Its customers include homeowners, architects and construction companies. This suits a landowner with cypress, oak or walnut logs to sell, or a builder or homeowner who needs long beams, wide boards or a specialty slab for a project.
