About Triple J Tie & Timber LLC
Triple J Tie & Timber LLC is a family business in Weir, Mississippi. It buys standing timber, runs logging crews, and operates sawmills that turn logs into lumber, railroad ties and timber mats. Its headquarters is in Weir, and it also lists mill locations in Vicksburg, Stallo, Louisville and Winona, all in Mississippi. If you have standing hardwood timber to sell, they offer timber cruising assessments and land and timber purchasing. They also work with partner loggers to keep their mills supplied. Choctaw County is the county they list as an area they serve. Their timber mats are built from three solid layers of wood bolted together. The business is third generation and 75 years strong, run by the Parkerson family. Keith and Betty Parkerson lead it today with their three young men, Joshua, Justin and Joey. They describe themselves as "real people who seek to earn your business," and they say they treat suppliers and customers like family. This suits a landowner with standing hardwood who wants one family firm to cruise, buy, log and mill the timber. From triplejtimber.com, read 17 October 2026.
