About Humboldt Logging Inc

Humboldt Logging Inc is a logging outfit based in Helena, Montana, and they also serve Lewis and Clark County. They handle timber harvest, land clearing and site work, and firewood sales. Their main work is going after specific trees or tree species rather than just clear-cutting. They'll target trees that are bug infested or about to be, trees that pose a safety risk, or trees that fit a particular market so the landowner gets paid well for the harvest. They say they have "several specific markets that pay top dollar for a variety of materials." They also do insect and disease prevention work, fire hazard reduction, and general forest health management. Beyond logging, they handle excavation, dirt work, and road building, including culverts and bridges, to get access into a property. They also sell split firewood by the full cord, delivered. There's no stated minimum acreage or tract size on their pages, so it's worth asking them directly what size job they'll take. This looks like a good fit for a landowner dealing with a specific problem, like a bug outbreak or fire risk, rather than someone just wanting a straightforward clear sale, and for anyone who also needs road or access work done alongside the harvest.
