Timber Buyers & Forestry Professionals in Corrales, NM

Modern Forestry Services, LLC is a forestry consulting business based in Northern New Mexico. It works with landowners on forest health and stewardship, not on buying or harvesting timber. The work covers forest stewardship planning, forest health and wildfire resilience, inventory and field evaluation, and project guidance with contractor coordination. A visit usually starts with a conversation about your land and your concerns, then a field walk where they "read the stand, identify risks and opportunities, and understand what kind of stewardship fits your land." From there you get clear recommendations, and depending on the project, help with a stewardship plan, inventory, maps, treatment priorities, or coordinating with a contractor to carry the work out. Jason Green, who runs the business, holds the ISA Certified Arborist credential. The business serves Sandoval County and describes itself as rooted in Northern New Mexico, working with landowners, agencies, contractors, and local partners on forest health, wildfire risk, and wildlife habitat. This fits a landowner who wants a plan for their woods and someone to walk the property and explain what it needs, rather than someone looking to sell standing timber or hire a logging crew.
