Dave started the business in 2022, after years as a woodworker, and set up a Norwood HD36V2 mill that can take logs up to 17 feet long and 36 inches wide, with full hydraulics added the next year. The work is custom milling: rough sawn lumber, quarter-sawn boards, slabs, dimensional lumber, and live edge slabs up to 30 inches. Dave can bring the mill to your property for portable milling, or you can haul your logs to Bainbridge for on-site milling at the shop. For portable jobs, he asks that "all logs should be in one location" and the ground be flat and clear so the mill can back in next to them; skidding logs into place costs extra.
