Ludo's Thick & Thin Lumber

About Ludo's Thick & Thin Lumber

Ludo's Thick & Thin Lumber is a sawmill that serves Orange County in New York. The way it works is simple: you bring your timber to them, and they mill it to what you ask for. They'll handle slabs up to 6 feet across and 20 feet long, plus dimensional lumber and beams up to 30 feet. Walnut is their specialty, though "all local species available" and they'll work hard or soft wood. Beyond slabs they cut custom wedges, trailer decking and sideboards, Adirondack siding for homes and cabins, survey and lath stakes, and general dimensional lumber. They say plainly, "We'll do one tree or 500 along with anything else you might think of," so there's no job too small or too big to ask about. Expedited orders can be arranged if you're in a hurry. This is milling work, not buying standing timber or logging. You deliver the wood, they turn it into what you need. This fits a landowner in Orange County who already has logs or trees down and wants them milled into boards, beams, slabs, or siding, rather than someone looking to sell standing timber or have it harvested.
