Arrow Forest, LLC
About Arrow Forest, LLC
Arrow Forest, LLC buys hardwood veneer logs out of a log yard at 1505 Neubrecht Road in Lima, Ohio, in Allen County. The company was incorporated in Beaverton, Oregon in 2012, and that same year it opened the Lima, Ohio yard along with a second yard in Wallaceton, Pennsylvania. In 2014 it added a hardwood plywood importing and distribution business alongside the log buying. On the log side they take Brown Ash, White Ash, Basswood, Black Walnut, Cherry, Hickory, Curly Maple, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, Black Oak, Chestnut Oak, Red Oak, Swamp Oak, White Oak, Red Elm, Sassafras, and Yellow Poplar. They describe themselves as "located in the heart of Walnut, White Oak and Black Cherry country" and say they look for "very large diameter Walnut and White Oak Veneer Logs for specialty veneer projects and tabletop applications." Their staff has more than 40 years in the American hardwood log trade, and the business also runs log purchase and sales contacts out of the Ohio yard for buying logs on the open market. This is a log yard and veneer buyer, not a logging crew that comes out and cuts your trees. A landowner in or near Allen County, Ohio with large, high quality walnut, white oak, or black cherry worth veneer money is the one who would want to talk to them, more than someone with a mixed small woodlot wanting a full harvest handled start to finish.
