About W.M.G. WOOD INC
W.M.G. WOOD INC, doing business as WMG Wood & More, is a sawmill in Painesville, Ohio, serving Lake County. The company has operated since 1990. The mill saws lumber to order and keeps lumber in stock for pickup. It also sells live edge lumber, railroad ties, and does site preparation work. Orders can be placed over the phone or in person, and the business asks that anyone needing railroad ties "Please Call Ahead For R.R. Ties So Someone Can Be Here To Help Load." The company describes bringing products from Amish country to Northeastern Ohio, naming Holmes County Ohio and Lancaster County Pennsylvania as sources for some of its handcrafted goods, alongside its own local work. This is a sawmill and site-prep outfit rather than a timber buyer or logger, so it suits a landowner who already knows what they want milled, or who needs ground cleared or railroad ties on hand, rather than someone looking for help selling standing timber.
