Ark Lumber Mill

About Ark Lumber Mill

Ark Lumber Mill is a sawmill in Springfield, Ohio, run by two friends who set out to start a lumber mill together. It's listed as a mill in Clark County. The work here is milling hardwood logs into usable lumber. That means debarking, cutting logs into boards, drying, and planing, turning what you cut down into boards ready for building or woodworking. They also sell green hardwood lumber themselves, describing it as "green hardwood sourced with care," and they offer planing and kiln drying as part of the process. If you've got hardwood on your land and want it turned into lumber rather than sold as standing timber, this is the kind of outfit that does that work. They serve Clark County. There's no mention of buying standing timber or running a logging crew, so this looks like the place you'd bring logs to, or source milled hardwood from, rather than a company that comes out and harvests trees for you. This suits a landowner in or near Clark County who already has hardwood logs down, or who wants to buy green hardwood lumber, rather than someone looking for a timber buyer or a logging crew to come cut and haul trees off standing acreage.
