Eastern Red Cedar Products
About Eastern Red Cedar Products
Eastern Red Cedar Products runs a lumber mill, with a location in Stillwater, Oklahoma. They manufacture eastern red cedar lumber and posts, and they take special orders. This is a mill, not a logging outfit or a timber buyer, so the work here is turning cedar into lumber and posts rather than coming out to cut your trees. They work only in eastern red cedar. They say they are "customer driven" and will "produce one board or a trailer load based on our customers specifications," and at each location they turn out 25,000 board feet of eastern red cedar lumber a week, so special orders can move fast. They use thin kerf bands, which they say helps maximize yield and cut down on sawdust. Eastern Red Cedar Products is listed as serving Payne County. This fits a landowner in eastern red cedar country who already has logs or posts in mind and wants a mill to cut them to spec, not someone looking for a buyer to walk their land and make an offer.
