About Altura Furniture Inc.

Altura Furniture Inc. is listed in the mills category, with an address in Portland, Oregon. But what it actually does is design and build wood furniture. It describes itself this way: "For more than 40 years, Altura Furniture has designed and manufactured wood furniture that is contemporary, yet classic." If you're a landowner trying to figure out who will buy standing timber, cut logs, or walk your woods with you, this isn't that. Altura makes finished furniture pieces, "custom-made, by hand, according to specifications," and sells them through a network of showrooms to design and building trade professionals, not through land visits or timber purchases. It was founded in New York City in 1983 and now runs its workshop on N Mississippi Ave. in Portland. There's nothing here about buying standing timber, species purchased, acreage, or how a timber sale would run. None of that is part of what this business does. This listing suits someone who got directed here by mistake while looking for a timber buyer, logger, or forestry consultant. If you own acres of trees and want to know who will cut or buy them, keep looking. From alturafurniture.com, read 11 October 2026.
