About JB Mill & Fabricating, Inc.
JB Mill & Fabricating, Inc. buys standing timber and runs its own sawmill from New Castle, Pennsylvania. On its own site it describes itself as "buyers of timber, makers of grade lumber and industrial wood products from our Western Pennsylvania headquarters in New Castle, PA." The timber side covers buying standing timber, timber management, and customized timber harvests, working in hardwood. A sale starts with a free estimate, no obligation, and they say "payment in full at contract signing." They also say skid roads, trails and landings are fully reclaimed after a harvest, and that references are available at any time. Landowners deal directly with their own foresters from start to finish. Their service area is Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, and the counties named are Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Mercer, Lawrence, Beaver, Washington, Butler, Venango, Armstrong, Clarion, Jefferson, and Indiana. Lawrence County is the one listed as served here. Jeff Bloise founded the company in 1986, starting out as a one-man shop on three acres building custom pallets and crates. From there the business grew into the sawmill and wider wood products operation it runs today, still family owned, now in New Castle. A landowner in Western Pennsylvania or Eastern Ohio who wants a timber buyer that also owns its own mill, with site cleanup and payment spelled out up front, would find JB Mill & Fabricating, Inc. worth a call.
