Hoffman Brothers Lumber Inc
About Hoffman Brothers Lumber Inc
Hoffman Brothers Lumber Inc is a logging company and sawmill in Richfield, Pennsylvania, run by the Hoffman family since 1963. They buy timber, log it, and run their own mill, and they work in oak and maple, poplar, hickory and birch. They work on woodlots of 10 acres or more, within 100 miles of their sawmill in Richfield. If you call them, a forester meets you first to talk through how you want the land managed. All the trees get marked and measured as part of a free appraisal, so you can see on paper which ones come down and which stay. They say "You WILL be paid before the timber harvest begins," and their logging crews are SFI certified, fully insured, and handle the permits for the job. They cover central Pennsylvania, with Juniata County named as an area they serve. Their own words sum up the approach: "our goal is to help you achieve YOUR goals." Beyond logging, they also sell lumber, sawdust, and mulch from their own sawmill complex. This fits a landowner with a decent-sized woodlot, at least 10 acres, in central Pennsylvania, who wants a local, long-running family outfit that handles everything from marking trees to milling the wood, and who wants to be paid before any cutting starts.
