Mk Logging & Lumber
About Mk Logging & Lumber
Mk Logging & Lumber is a logging and timber buying business in Walnutport, Pennsylvania. It has been in business since 2004, serving landowners in Northampton, Monroe, Carbon, and Schuylkill counties. The business handles logging, buys standing timber, and also offers cut and split firewood, industrial lumber, slab wood, outdoor furnace wood, and new trailer decking. For the logging work, they use several foresters to help manage jobs depending on what the landowner needs, and they say "From initial skid trail construction through final grading and seeding, we complete all phases of the process ourselves." They note they do not purchase yard trees or trees cut down by tree services. If you're thinking about selling standing timber, they state a minimum: "We are always interested in buying standing timber, 5 acre minimum." This fits a landowner in Northampton or the nearby counties listed who wants one business handling the whole job, from building the skid trail to the final grading and seeding when the work is done.
