About Forcey Lumber Co. Inc.
Forcey Lumber Co. Inc. is a hardwood sawmill and lumber business in Woodland, Pennsylvania. It has been family owned and run for over 70 years and four generations, with Ross Forcey as Vice President and Brant Forcey as President. The company works in hardwood, turning logs into flooring blanks and dimensional lumber, veneer, and kiln dried lumber. It runs two locations: the Hardwood Concentration Yard in Woodland and a Veneer Plant in Clearfield. It serves Clearfield County. The business calls itself part of the "heart of the Hardwood country" and says "customer satisfaction has been and will continue to be a number one priority." This is a mill set up to take hardwood logs through to finished lumber and veneer products, not a service that walks a landowner's woods and markets standing timber for them. It suits a landowner who already has logs cut, or who is working with a logger or forester and wants to know where the wood can go to be sawn or turned into veneer, rather than someone looking for help pricing a standing timber sale from scratch.
