Alexander Timber

About Alexander Timber

Alexander Timber is a family owned and operated logging and timber buying business in Cushing, Texas. David Alexander runs it, and his son Brylan Alexander works the skidder. They have 44 years experience in the woods. They do thinning, clear cuts, select cuts, timber management and turnkey logging. A clear cut can make pasture or just open up an area. A select cut takes the trees you want gone and leaves the rest. They buy and cut pine, hardwood, sweet gum and cedar, on large or small tracts. Their crew uses a shear to fell trees, a skidder to drag them to the set, and a loader to delimb, cut and load logs onto the trucks. They clean the roads, sets and landings for future food plots, and they say accessibility is very important to them. A job starts with a free estimate. David visits the property and talks with you about your goals for the land, then they take the work through to the end. They serve landowners in Nacogdoches, Rusk, Cherokee, Smith, Houston, Angelina, Shelby, Anderson, Panola and Henderson counties, and surrounding East Texas counties. Their page says "Your trees are our business." The owner is Pro Logger Certified, and the work is fully insured and fully mechanized. The phone number is 903-810-3008. This suits landowners in those counties who want one family crew to cut, haul and clean up, and who want someone to walk the land with them before any work starts.
